Ultra-Precision Polishing Machine
Zeeko's Intelligent Robotic Polishing Machines have been developed over 25 years and represent a pinnacle in the world of ultra-precision solutions. The machines can be used to polish optical and non-optical surfaces where fine form control or fine texture control is required. Surfaces can be classical optical shapes, or freeform and other complex shapes.
The machines can be used for:
• Grolishing (high removal rate shape forming)
• Pre-polishing
• Corrective polishing and figuring to lambda/20 PV
• Fluid Jet Polishing
Zeeko’s IRP range of Ultra-Precision Polishing Machines has gained a solid reputation in the optics industry for providing form and texture control on a range of complex optical surfaces, enabling form control to lambda/20 PV and roughness in the 2 -3 Angstrom Ra range. The range of machines encompasses small to large in terms of part diameters from 5 mm up to over 2000 mm.
The machines run sophisticated multi-axis CNC controllers and are operated by Zeeko's industry leading CAD/CAM software ZephyrCAM.The simplicity of the software allows complex components to be polished to shape with ease.
